Electronic Invoice Issuing

To issue a Electronic Invoice, in Belo Horizonte / MG – Brazil, we had to buy a digital certificate, register on the great City Hall system (BHISS Digital), install JAVA 6 (that is also great) and pray for the server, for its good mood.

Resizing a VMDK (with Virtual Box)

To develop my projects, I have a Linux virtual machine on my Desktop and Notebook. When I configured, used a 10GB HD, guessing it would take too long to not have enough space…

The problem is that it didn’t took too long, and suddenly I was with only 900MB of free space. I needed to resize my virtual machine HD, and it is on VMDK (Virtual Machine Disk) format. This format is cool because we can transit between different virtualization softwares… On my case, I like to use Virtual Box from Oracle.

Looking for an accountant

Knowing that we couldn’t open the company as MEI, we were obligated to have an accountant to keep the financial records in order. We started looking for accounting firms that would not charge too much, and that were compatible with startups and rookies on entrepreneurship.

Postfix: Relay Access Denied

I needed to configure a Postfix in a Debian 6 (Squeeze) this dawn and off course it didn’t went 100% fine…

After configuring a DNS server with Bind, I installed Postfix with MySQL authentication using the instructions (in portuguese) below:

Using Telnet, I managed to receive and send emails without problems… Great huh? But I went to other server, where this mail server would be used.
